Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am raising money for SANDS - the Stillbirth and Neo-natal Death charity in memory of our beautiful daughter, Amy, who was stillborn in March 2006. SANDS support bereaved parents and families and they also seek to raise awareness and fund research into the reasons why 17 babies die every day in the UK - before, during or shortly after their birth.

Unfortunately, I know first hand that the loss of a child is completely devastating. Six years on I continue to mourn but, in raising money to help give comfort to other families and aid research to reduce the number of babies who die, I feel I can contribute something positive.

Please sponsor me as I endeavour to haul my sorry backside 10k around Manchester on Sunday 20th May! I have done very little training so I doubt I will be breaking any records however, I will hopefully be able to cross the finish line at some point!
