Plymouth Half Marathon · 2 March 2009

The Ear Foundation helped fund the first cochlear implants for deaf children in the UK. We now support children, young people & adults who use a variety of modern hearing technologies. Offering independent advice & activites to bridge the gap between clinics where they're fitted and home where used.

Story

Holla!

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page, I hope that you meant to navigate your way here, but if you didn't, go ahead and sponsor me anyway!

My plan is to run the Plymouth Half Marathon in May, and i'm doing it for a charity called The Ear Foundation. I'm not going to pull on your heart strings, but if you know me you'll probably know that my little sister was born profoundly deaf, and since having a cochlear implant, my family and I have benefitted first hand from the hard work, dedication and support given at The Ear Foundation... so take it from me that they are a cause well worthy of your swear jar profits! (If you'd rather not take it from me, visit their website: www.earfoundation.org.uk!)

I won't hold you up any longer... donate away!!

Thank you xx
