To keep me motivated and running after the Race For Life, I am very pleased that RABI have accepted me as one of their runners for the London 10K in July!
Agriculture is so much a part of my life and something that I feel is very important to support. Given the constant pressures faced in farming and devasting consequences of diseases such as bird flu, foot and mouth and BSE, we need to support what matters most - the families and farming community.
Many don't realise the crucial role these families have in making sure that we have food on our tables but without them, everything would be imported and where's the pride in that?
RABI is 149 years old this year and like any charity, relies on people's kind donations to continue to support those that matter the most.
Please sponsor me to run this race - give as little or as much as you like but every bit you give goes to helping the farming community. Come and watch me during the day - it's one hell of an event with 26,000 people running last year and you can have a Sunday trip to London!
Thanks so much for reading this and hopefully see you there! If you're interested in running with me - call me now as I have a form to send you! Or join me next year and celebrate RABI's 150th year!
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Thank you for your continued support
Louise
