The Earl Mountbatten Hospice is the Island's only hospice. It cares for over 800 people at any one time, people who have been given a life limiting diagnosis. To continue to be able to provide free care we need to raise £2 million per year.

My story

Hello everyone!

Mike, one of our lovely vounteers, suggested that he would like to run the Great South Run in Portsmouth (10 miles) for the Hospice, so I (stupidly) said I would do it with him. I haven't done any running since I left school (over 10 years ago!) so wish me luck!

I am currently running up to 7 miles twice a week, so I would really appreciate your support. The training is going well, apart from a slightly dodgy ankle a couple of weeks ago! And now a bit of a twingy knee!
