Hello everyone!
Mike, one of our lovely vounteers, suggested that he would like to run the Great South Run in Portsmouth (10 miles) for the Hospice, so I (stupidly) said I would do it with him. I haven't done any running since I left school (over 10 years ago!) so wish me luck!
I am currently running up to 7 miles twice a week, so I would really appreciate your support. The training is going well, apart from a slightly dodgy ankle a couple of weeks ago! And now a bit of a twingy knee!
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Earl Mountbatten Hospice gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Thank you for your support, the Hospice has to raise £4,500 per day, so your donations are very much appreciated. We wouldn't be able to provide the care we do without your help.
Louise x
PS Thank you to everyone who has sponsored me so far, your generosity is very much appreciated. My initial target was £500.00, however I keep having to increase it! Thank you so much xx
PPS The small sting ray incident in Florida two weeks ago has not affected my foot too much, so the training is still going strong! NOT LONG NOW!!!! xxx
