One Saturday night after an afternoon of 5 bottles of wine my buddy Steve Smith told me about his quest to lose 4 stone and complete the Great South Run in October to raise money for Macmillian Cancer Support.  Macmilliam have been a great support to Steve's sister.

Well you can only guess what came out of my mouth next  'Oh Steve i'll do it with you buddy!'  When I remembered what I had said the following Wednesday I decided I would stick to my drunken word!  So here I am fully in weight loss mode (I have about 4 stone to go) and full training mode (hitting the gym 4 times a week).

Please Please Please sponser me any amount however small will be greatly appreciated and will go towards helping Macmillan to continue there fantastic support.

Update

I would like to say thankyou all the friends and family that are keeping my motivation going in the weight loss department  I have now lost 2 stone and I am determined to finish this run even if it takes me all day....... I have booked the next day off work just in case!
