Love it, loathe it or try to avoid it - Valentine's Day is on its way and animals at the new RSPCA flagship centre in Frankley need you to consider the true advocates of unconditional love this year by supporting our 'Love Our New Centre' Valentine's campaign and alternative St. Valentine's shopping list:

£5 - Signed, Sealed, Delivered: Save yourself the hassle of seeking out a card and donate instead to help provide enrichment activities for animals in our care to help them find happiness again.

£10 - The Bear Necessities: Forget cute, cuddly toys or beautiful bears and get back to basics by donating towards a full days care for an abandoned cat or kitten including their food, shelter and special attention from our cat cuddlers and welfare team.

£15 - Life is like a Box of Chocolates: Forgo further sickly sweet indulgence after all the Christmas excess and donate instead towards a full days care for an abandoned puppy or pooch including all their food, shelter and plenty of attention from our expert welfare staff.

£50 - You Don't Buy Me Flowers: Make the gesture last a lifetime instead of a few days by donating the money you might spend on a dozen red roses towards providing life saving emergency treatment at our hospital for an abused or injured animal in our care.

£100 - Romantic Meal for Who: If you usually make a dogs dinner of a special meal then donate the £100 you might spend on a special night out towards the costs of all the nutritious, delicious and much needed meals for all the animals at our centre for a whole day.

Your donations will help to ensure that as many mistreated, neglected and abandoned animals and possible receive the safe, happy and healthy start to the New Year they truly deserve at our state of the art centre for animal welfare and veterinary treatment.

We rely entirely on public donations and therefore, ask for as many of you as possible to open your hearts, homes and wallets for the true advocates of unconditional love to raise the £30,000 required to run the centre for the entire Valentine's week as we countdown with cupid to the Big Day.

So, if you love animals or perhaps your loved one is animal mad too, then donate before Monday 11th February to receive a Thank You certificate and confirmation letter to present to your loved one on Valentine's Day.
