Over the last 12 months there has been an alarming expansion rate going on within Lowri Beck and I am not referring to the all the new work that has been undertaken. The only comparison that can be made is that this can also be termed as organic growth.

OK Have you ever thought that you are seeing more of myself, Steve Moores and Chris Walker lately? Well that is not just down to our super industrious natures but more to do with the fact that there is substantially more of us. We are each determined to put this right in the New Year with a concerted effort to regain our former athleticism. Or in other words to more closely resemble Greek Gods rather than the present likeness to Greek Urns.
We will attend an official weigh-in at Swan House on the Monday 5th of January 2009. Our individual weight will be recorded and there will be regular weigh-ins over a three-month period (ending Monday the 30th of March).
We are seeking sponsorship for each pound lost. All proceeds will be split between Hope House in Oswestry and Rainbow House in Mawdesley. As an incentive if any of us should disgrace ourselves and not loose any weight over the period or put on weight from a previous weigh in, then they shall suffer a forfeit or make a donation to their chosen charity.

Official (unbiased) adjudicators are Kerry and Keeley, their word is final (Steve Moores please note). There will be a winner based on % of weight lost.
