Assalamu'alaikum,

Please help us build two wells this year. Last year we built 3 and we think we can do this again but only with your help.

Since 2012 we have been building these large Dig-a-Wells (like the one in our profile picture from LQE 2018 in Paskistan) which are situated in a communal places such as village centres, schools or mosques providing access to the maximum number of people.

Dig-a-Wells can serve up to 200 people, providing access to clean water for drinking, washing and cooking, as well as keeping livestock hydrated. The wells draw water from up to 40 metres beneath the ground making them dependable during all seasons.

On the authority of Sa‘d ibn ’Ubadah (ra) who said, ’I asked, “O Messenger of Allah! Which charity is best?” He [saw] replied, “Providing water”’. (Ibn Majah)
