Capital to Coast 2009 · 28 June 2009 ·

The Capital 2 Coast Cycle Challenge for Charity on 25th June is a scenic charity cycle ride which benefits two partner charities undertaking crucial work with children and adults – Norwood - see website www.capitaltocoast.org.uk for further details.

Story

Thank you for visiting the Learning Tree Capital to Coast Fund raising page.  With a year passed and the dust settling since the Mont Blanc climb, Learning Tree has once again managed to convince some unsuspecting employees to take part in another punishing Learning Tree Challenge.

This year we are heading to the Coast, on our bikes! A crack team of 24 Learning Tree UK employees are deep into their training regimes preparing for the 2009 Capital to Coast Cycle challenge.  This gruelling 60 mile ride starts in Hampton, finishes on the coast in Hove and climbs over the North and South downs on route... yuk!

It is a charity cycle ride which supports four partner charities - The Cystic Fibrosis Trust, The Down’s Syndrome Association, Norwood & Southern FM's Help A Local Child. The ride and support team are being fully funded by Learning Tree and the participants, hence every penny raised will go directly to charity, so please dig deep and give generously to ease our bruises, cuts and sores!

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Capital to Coast gets your money faster and if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 28% in Gift Aid is added to your donation.

Please please sponsor us, and in return we'll send you some photos of open sores and chaffing!
