I'm running (a bit of a stretch of the imagination, I know !) in the Great Manchester 10K Run, and raising money for the Noor Foundation UK, a UK based charity that operates free dialysis centres in developing countries. So far, they've opened 17 free centres in Pakistan, with over  £1,000,000 worth of dialysis machines, delivering 5,000 free dialysis treatments a month.

One dialysis treatment costs £12, so donating in mulitiples of £12 would be fab. Each patient receives 9 dialysis treatments a month so you can imagine what colossal task it really is to continue to help save the lives of these poor people.
 

The best bit is - the charity has been very successfully run for the past 11 years by a group of friends and family and not one single penny is spend on administration, marketing, expenses or admin. So that means every penny you donate goes towards the cost of lifesaving dialysis equipment and treatment.
