<p><span style="font-family: Arial; color: #0000ff;">Raising much needed funds for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research!</span><span style="color: #00ff00;"><span style="font-family: Arial;"> </span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Arial; color: #0000ff;">This site was very kindly set up by John Cassidy from Newport Pagnell Town FC following an idea by Jules and Ian Ford at the Club who wrote the following words to the Club members back in September '10....</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #006400;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">Hi all,<br></span></span><span style="color: #006400;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">About 3 weeks ago one of the U6 players at Newport Pagnell Town FC left training early feeling unwell.<br></span></span><span style="color: #006400;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">Since that training session he has been to the doctors 2 or 3 times and has now been diagnosed with Leukaemia.<br></span></span><span style="color: #006400;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">As you can imagine we are very upset; such a serious illness for a boy of only 5 years old to cope with. Yet our upset pales into insignificance compared to the upset and pain that he and his family are feeling right now.<br></span></span><span style="color: #006400;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">To this effect we would like, with the your support, to raise some money for him and try and bring him a little happiness at this difficult time.<br></span></span><span style="color: #006400;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">The Football Club are going to donate the gate sales from the match on the 9th October and we are putting a collection box at the bar.<br></span></span><span style="color: #006400;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">Please can you encourage your parents to support us by making a donation.<br></span></span><span style="color: #006400;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">We would really appreciate any help you can give.<br></span></span><span style="color: #006400;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">Kind regards<br></span></span><span style="color: #006400;"><span style="font-family: Arial;">Jules and Ian<br>U6's & U11's (<a href="http://www.nptfc.co.uk/newsite/">http://www.nptfc.co.uk/newsite/</a>)</span></span></p>
<p><span style="color: #0000ff;">Lucas has been fortunate to have the wonderful support of Jules, Ian and all of his friends at NPTFC who have done an amazing job raising money to buy some treats for Lucas. Their generousity has been spreading throughout Newport Pagnell and beyond and there have been some wonderful fund raising events taking place.</span></p>
<p><span style="color: #0000ff;">This page has been set up to raise money for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research, we would like to raise this money so we can help to try and stop others from suffering like Lucas is now.</span></p>
