Story

Hello!

Here's the deal: Next february, with a host of intrepid adventurers from around the country, I set sail for Panama, where I will don some lycra and get on a bike. 2 weeks later I'll arrive in the lush surrounds of Nicaragua, having cycled 680 km along the Costa Rican coast and through the tropics.

WHY?!? I hear you ask. Not just for the posterior of steel that I will surely possess by the end of it. Along the way I shall be raising money for MacMillan Cancer Support, who need no introduction (but there's one on the left of this page anyway.)

And that's where you come in. I need to raise a minimum of £3500 sponsorship and I can only do so with your help! You have the easy task - all you need to do is dig deep and geez yer coin, and know that with every turn of the wheel, every crash and every puncture, I'll be thankful to you for helping me on my way. So who's gonna start us off?!

09/07/09 Update: Held a Big Picnic and raffle in work and raised the grand total of £537.50. Hurray!

19/07/09 Update: Raised £395.50 at the Helensburgh quiz and raffle! Thanks to all who came along & bought raffle tickets, and to all the people and businesses who donated prizes!

10/12/09 Update: My mum and sister did the Christmas Cracker 5k in Strathclyde Park on Sunday and raised £290 for me. Thank you mum and Lyndsay! x

03/01/10 Update: Thank you to all the kind Celtic fans who put their hands in their pockets and £337 in my bucket today at the Old Firm match! It's Rangers turn on the 23rd. :D

10/01/10 Update: Another £350 in the bank from this weekend's bag pack at the Co-op. Thanks to all who helped out. Nearly there! :)
