Story

On the 8th May, strapped to an instructor who is hopefully! armed with a parachute, I'm gonna fall 12,500ft, and I can even get someone to film my death defying leap into oblivion :D

My target is £400, and all the money I receive in sponsorship will go to the charity of my choice, as I'm paying the £200 to actually skydive myself. DUCK will pass the money on. So anything you can give would be really appreciated!

Which brings me to the charity that I'm leaping out of a plane for: Breakthrough Breast Cancer, which is committed to fighting breast cancer by research, campaigning and education, and so the money I raise will help improve treatment options, making it so fewer families will have to suffer bereavement.

This is in honour and in memory of the most important person in my life: My mum, who in 2004 lost her courageous battle with the disease. This is for you, and for others who have suffered and continue to suffer from a disease that now is a risk to 1 in 8 women in the UK.

You made me the person I am today, everything that I am is because of you. All I want to do is honour your gift to me and the incredible person you were by doing my part to help make it so that others do not have to suffer as you did. Words cannot express what you mean to me, and how intensely I will always feel your loss.12 years is undeniably far too short a time to have known you in life, but every moment of those years was a blessing to have had you as the most perfect mother anyone could ever have asked for.
