I'm taking part in Climb for Life – the one million pound hi-mountain challenge. The trek takes place in the Lake District in November, and it's the 25th year of this fundraising event. The money raised will go to the Institute of Cancer Research.

I will be leaving my dedicated colleagues at the Royal Marsden and escaping from the normal friday afternoon busy clinic, to put on my waterproofs and trek up a mountain to raise as much money as I possibly can! If I don't get back it means I'm probably lost in the Lakes!
