St David's Foundation Hospice Care
Imagine being diagnosed with a life-threatening illness...where would you turn? Every year, St. David's Foundation provides Hospice care to over 2500 people with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses in the County Borough's of Caerphilly, Torfaen, Monmouth & Newport. Most people feel most comfortable in their own homes, surrounded by things they know and people they love, so that's where St. David's provides most of their care - in the home. Each year it costs over £4.5 million to provide our services, your support really does make a difference.

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.After my last marathon effort in 2006 I have recovered sufficiently from my injuries to have another go in 2008. I managed to complete it in 3 hours 34 mins 1 sec which I am very chuffed with.Your sponsorship really spurred me on when life was getting rather suboptimal at around 21 miles on 13/4/08. St David's Foundation Hospice care relies almost exclusively on voluntary contributions which makes your sponsorship even more important to help patients in Torfaen, Monmouthshire, Newport and Caerphilly who are suffering from terminal illness. The community nurses are experts in palliative care and your contributions will allow this service to continue which provides so much support and comfort to patients and their families.
