Flora London Marathon 2009 · 26 April 2009 ·

Working with over 11,000 people with a sight impairment in Kent and surrounding areas, we’re one of the largest local sight loss charities in the UK. Our aims are to work to prevent avoidable sight loss, deliver excellent support services and help people to live independently.

Story

Well that's it folks - we're all done. 26.2 miles.  and... relax. :)

6 and a half hours... running, walking, hobbling, jelly baby scoffing, lucozade guzzling, vaseline swobbing, sun burning day. WHAT a way to spend a Sunday!?

With all of our friends and families help we have achieved and exceeded our target for Kent Association for the Blind - for which they are VERY grateful so a HUGE thank you to all of you lovely people who have donated already.

We know a few of you have kindly offered to sponsor us once the deed was done and for those we now ask you to help us support another local cause which is very close to our hearts.  The Kingston Wildcats.

The Wildcats run teams for the young and the old, male, female, beginners, 'experienced' and have been going for 25 years this year.  They rely on subs and donations to keep going and this year has been a real struggle and next year looks gloomy if they don't raise funds.

So if you have visited us to sponsor us we ask you now to please send cheques (made payable to Kingston Wildcats Basketball Club) or cash to us at:

7 Hillcrest Gardens
Hinchley Wood

Again - thanks you ALL so much.

Lucy and Jo :)
