In October I went to Kosovo to run workshops with children and some adult groups to  create designs for flags that I will make for the Peace Park to be flown in March 2009. We ended up with 73 fantastic designs and one has been chosen by the artists in Kosovo. Along with running these artistic sessions I encouraged children to sing to me and and as a singer myself I was truly delighted to find so many  gifted and wonderful singers. I am therefore really hoping to be able to return in March not only to fly the flags but to organize a concert for the memorial.
The flags I make are really huge and will last a long time for the park and be a beautiful inspiration for the people of Poujeve. The starting point for all the designs was a picture of a very old mosaic of Orpheus that used to be in the town but was stolen during the war. Please help me realize this exciting project.
