Hike 4 Hospices 2009 · 22 August 2009 ·

It raises money for four hospices in Sussex: St Barnabas House in Worthing, St Wilfred's in Chichester, St Peter and St James in North Chailey and The Martlets in Hove.

Story

This was my dog Busby's reaction when I asked him to join me walking 42 miles in two days, so it looks like I'm walking by myself then! (Well he's 14 and very arthritic so I let him off).

Don't quite know how I managed to sign myself up for this other than I love walking and and these hospices are fantastic charities to support. They have to raise 75% of their running costs in order to maintain their invaluable services.  See www.hike4hospices.com for further information.

The Itinerary:

Saturday 22nd Aug - Lewes-St Botolphs - 17 miles

Sunday 23rd Aug - St Botolphs-Goodwood - 25 miles

Sunday evening - stretcher back home

Monday - visit to chiropodist and pedicure
