Hello! Firstly thanks for visiting my fundraising page...
I tied myself to a very long rope, put on an unflattering crash helmet and abseiled 469 feet down Guy's Hospital Tower in aid of The Evelina Children's Hospital Appeal on Saturday August 2nd.
I raised around £300 for the charity, if you're on this page it's because you helped me - so thank you! (You can still donate until Nov 1st too!)
We raised money to pay for hospital equipment, furnishings and toys beyond the weedy NHS budget. The Evelina provides everything from routine care and minor surgery to life saving treatment for over 100,000 children every year (and yes some of those will probably will end up being little sods behind you on the bus or in the cinema, but not all of them). There are 140 beds including intensive care, and leading heart and dialysis units.
Some of my lovely friends came to watch me and waited veeeery patiently as they were running late. (people will watch anything when there's crap all on the telly) The photos are up on my myspace and facebook pages.
