Climb Kilimajaro for Children in Africa · 11 December 2007

COCO’s purpose is to provide education to create the opportunity for children to break the cycle of poverty. We are currently working with communities in remote areas of Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. Our vision is a world where every child, everywhere has access to quality education.

Story

Hey! In July 2008 I'm planning on Climbing Mount Kilimajaro for a children's charity based in newcastle called COCO (Comrades for Children Overseas) which specialises in improving the lives of children affected by famine, war, poverty and disease. Alongside climbing Kilimajaro (the tallest free standing mountain in the world and a massive 4, 600 m) I'll also be volunteering in schools helping with maintenance, paintwork and renovation in some of the poorest regions in Africa. In order to be able to go on the Climb however, I have to raise a MASSIVE £2250 so any donation would be HUGELY appreciated!!!!!

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: COCO will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
