Why Barnardo's...well you may or may not know that my PhD research is working with young women who are at risk of, or who have been, sexually exploited. I have met young women who are at risk from their peers, friends, older men claiming to be their boyfriend, uncles and mothers. Barnardo's work and research with sexually exploited young poeple helped in the inital understanding of these messy situations and led us to the point where this research has helped some of these young women feel more empowered.

I'd like to give Barnardo's something in return... so please help by giving what you can.
