My story
Thanks for visiting my just giving page :D
I probably don't need to explain this by now, but I will anyway. I've suffered from OCD for a very long time, but I'm slowly getting better, and I can safely say that the majority of my progress is down the THIS amazing charity. They offer information for both sufferers and carers, and advice and support through the OCD-UK forums.
I know a lot of people don't think mental illness is a big deal, but it is. I hate to throw statistics at you, but 1 in 4 people will be affected by mental illness at some point in their lives. If you ask any one of those people, they'll tell you, it is a big deal.
Anyway, I'm running the half marathon at the Edinburgh Marathon Festival on 27th May, and I'd really appreciate all the support I can get - pennies or pounds, or just a hug :) And let's face it, you know you all can't wait for more embarassing mid-race photos like the one above :D
Thank you to everyone who has supported me (and James) when running the half marathon last summer, I really appreciated it :) So please, dig deep and throw a few pennies at this amazing charity I support :)
