Jumping in July for Alzheimer's Society · 2 June 2008

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

On 12th July, in Dementia Awareness Week, I will be jumping from a plane 10,000 feet above the Kent countryside. Mad? Yes, I think I might be!

As you probably know I work for Alzheimer's Society. However, this definitely isn't in my job description. Instead I am jumping in honour of my gran and the 700,000 people in the UK who, like her, have Alzheimer's. Please help me reach my goal and make the sheer terror worth it.

I am paying for the cost of the jump myself so all the money you donate will go directly to Alzheimer's Society enabling them to continue to make a difference to people with dementia and those who care for them.

If you are a UK tax payer please tick the gift aid box - it doesn't cost you anything, and it means that the government will give the Society an extra 28p for every £1 you sponsor me.
