Over 100,000 of us in the UK have MS. It’s unpredictable and different for everyone. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We’re the MS Society. We understand what life’s like with MS. We're here for you through the highs, lows and everything in between. Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.

Story

Hi there, thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page. I'm dead excited about going on this trek, though I'm not looking forward to the possibility of having cold, wet feet for a week! I'm going with one of my bestest friends Janine Giovanni, so guaranteed laughs all the way, wet feet or not!!! Apart from a parachute jump a few years ago, this is the first time I have made a real concerted effort to raise money for the MS Society, which is pretty shocking considering my Mum suffered from MS for many years. I want to do this in her memory and for all the fantastic times we had and all the laughs, even when she was suffering and really low. She never had a cross word and always was full of smiles and life. I also want to do this for those that are suffering from MS now, and those that care for them, I know how hard it can be when you are close to someone who is juggling life and MS. I'll be making regular updates regarding my training, though at the moment, that's walking the dog! I am running the Glasgow women's 10K in May, so I am running around a bit too. I have had offers of going hillwalking with friends and the scouts, so it looks like I will have to get my arse in gear pretty soon. Thanks again, be generous! The Moose XX
