Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page

The “Wobbleberry Challenge” is a fund raising initiative to raise money to research osteosarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer.  The challenge was inspired by Hannah Francis, a talented young rider who lost her life to the disease aged just 18.

The Challenge is aimed at middle aged, wimpy riders (yes, thats me!) to  to push themselves to complete a British Eventing event.   Eventing consists of dressage, cross country and show jumping all performed on the same day, so lots of training is needed across all three disciplines. And believe me, galloping cross country over fences needs not only technique training but also mindset work in order to develop balls of steel.   It is (hopefully) an effective balance between a proper challenge and one that is achievable by ordinary people, riding ordinary horses.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
