My name is Lukas, I am 11 years old. I am going to ride from Wallingford to Paris to raise money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association.   My ride will take four days and i will camp on the way.

The dad of my friends has just died from MND and this makes me feel sad. At the end his condition was very bad because he could only move his feet and he couldn't talk anymore.

The charity really helped my friends' mum with things like wheel chairs, breathing equipment and carers. I want to raise money so they can help other people.

my ride is being organised by The Velo Adventure Co. who will be supporting me on the road through in France.  They will carry my tent and stuff and will take my bike home from Paris.  www.theveloadventurecompany.com is a local company that organises group rides, private and corporate cycling events.

My local bike shop, Rides on Air in Wallingford, are also helping me with clothing and mechanical support whilst I am training locally, along with discounts on energy nutrition and other essentials for the journey.
