Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page:

On Friday 20th April 2012, together with my Mum (Jean) and Sister (Laura)... and many others, we joined Cricket legend Sir Ian Botham at Wimpole Estate in Cambridge on part of Beefy's Great British Walk 2012 to help raise money for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research.

It was a great day, full of energy, and brilliant to meet up with Deryn and his family again. I had the pleasure in joining Deryn's Dad, Simon, in 2010 to walk over 30 miles to raise money to help Deryn beat blood cancer. Deryn, a courageous young 12 year old, whilst still receiving ongoing treatment is doing tremendously well :o)

You'll be pleased to know that Mum, Laura, and I all completed the walk and between us have raised over £700.00. Together, with your help & kindness, it would be smashing if we could raise even more than this for this worthwhile cause. You have then played your part in helping to beat childhood blood cancer.

Many thanks to all those who have kindly donated so far.

For others..... Please dig deep? No matter how small, all donations will be greatly appreciated and WILL make a difference.

Please see photos uploaded from the day at Wimpole.

Many thanks :o)
