Story
In October last year (2019) Craig was hit by a car at speed while out cycling close to his home in Luton. As a result he was left with critical injuries. Thanks to the skill and quick actions of the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance crew both at the scene and on the journey to a major trauma unit in London Craig survived. After a month in critical care in an induced coma he was transferred closer to home to begin his long journey to recovery. To say thank you to these amazing people Craig and friends will be completing a sponsored cycle ride from Luton Town Football Club to Southend. They will be travelling via the home airfield of the Essex and Herts air ambulance team at North Weald, where Craig will be taking the opportunity to say thank you in person. Please give what you can to support this truly life saving charity.
