Lightweight 100k Relay · 18 January 2007

We’re the only charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands. That’s why we help children who’ve been abused to rebuild their lives, we protect children at risk, and we find the best ways of preventing child abuse from ever happening.

Story

On Sunday 21st Jan 2007 ten LWT indoor rowers will be joining forces to attempt to break the World Record for Team 100K on a single Concept2 rowing machine. Their sprint relay strategy should see them home in approx 5 hrs! They will be raising funds for the NSPCC.

The event will be taking place in the Riptide Gym, Brighton.  Feel free to come along and support and donate!

UPDATE

The row didn't go acording to plan.  It went even better!!  The old record was 5 hours 11 mins,  and the new record is 4 hours 39 mins.

A massive and heart felt thank you must go to the helpers; Dougie Lawson, Phil McCorry, Matt Hillier and Gemma Cropper.

Well done team!!
