My story

This is a memorial page for Lydia Corfe Press, who died in a tragic climbing accident in the Alps on the 2 May 2008.

Lydia studied Earth Science at Oxford and then was studying Environmental Policy in Budapest; she cared a great deal about environmental issues, and had been directly involved in WaterAid fundraising activities.

We decided that the best way to show our respect for her ideals and provide some memorial to Lydia and her free-minded spirit was to give directly to the charity she cared about. You can find out about some other things we are doing in memory of Lydia at www.lydiapress.org

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to donate: WaterAid will receive your money electronically and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in Gift Aid will be added to your donation at no cost to you.

Many thanks for your kind thoughts, support and donations,

Julia and Nigel, Naomi and Ali and Arnaud.
