Boost Charitable Trust is a grant giving charity set up in 2005. Our mission is to fund and support inspiring programmes which help improve the lives of the disadvantaged and disabled through the power of sport. We focus on helping people in five main areas: physical and learning disabilities, financial hardship, mental health, social exclusion and medical research and relief.

Story

Thank you for visiting my justgiving page. I now have just under 4 weeks until I have to run 13 miles! I'm scared!!

I am now running for two charities. The first one is Boost, which works with a number of different sporting causes both in England and aboard. In particular the money raised from my run will be used to help less fortunate children in Africa and the Caribbean.

I will also be running in memory of my Aunty Lynda who died recently, having suffered from rheumatoid arthristis and other complications throughout her life. While she lived in Camberley, she was supported by Disability Initiative, an established charity that specialises in the provision of services to adults with complex physical disabilities and acquired brain injury.  She was able to go to a purpose-built centre that offered a fully accessible enviroment. Here she was able to achieve her goals but also to help others, something I know she loved to do.

Please help me raise as much money as possible for these two charitites.

Thank you

Lydia xx
