I have signed up for the Sheffield BUPA 10k 2010! Crazy I know, it is not even the 1/2 marathon but hey, I have to start from somwhere! The story is not finished yet, to add insult to injury I decided to do it Paula Radcliffe style and run in 45 minutes, (let's face it she was pregnant at the time too).

I will be very happy first, if I can just complete the race and second, if I can avoid being last. For the rest let's hope superman can lend me his boots so I can do it Radcliffe style minus the peeing (a girl is allowed to dream).

I'm running on behalf of Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF). A charity very dear to me. They are an international humanitarian aid organisation who provide emergency medical assistance to populations in danger in more than 60 countries.
They provide essential healthcare during and after conflict, treat people affected by epidemic diseases, help people in the aftermath of natural disasters and offer medical care to those excluded from healthcare. They employ a wide range of healthcare professionals from doctors and nurses to physios and technicians. 

It's a really good cause and a bit of a challenge so if you or anyone you know can spare a few quid, I 'll really appreciate it.
