I will be taking part in UNICEF's fundraising trek through the Peruvian Andes, in April 2008.

Those of you who have met me will know that I'm very short and extremely chubby ! As such, this trek is a huge challenge for me - the equivalent of climbing Ben Nevis for five days in a  row, then spending another three days walking back down again. Oh, and the lack of oxygen at that altitude is like walking with a  plastic bag over your head - should be fun !
