My story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.

In August 2009, Lyndon Wainwright-Noble and Tom Vickery will embark on the one of the toughest Ironman Triathlon's in the World. Based in Lancashire just outside Bolton the race acts as a qualifier for the Hawaii World Champs.

The race consists of a 2.4mile swim, 112mile bike ride, 26.2 mile marathon run. All which have to be done within time limits and cut off points.

The reason behind entering the race other than the personal achievement of completing an Ironman is to raise money to be donated to Epilepsy Bereaved.

For those of you who are not aware, Will's girlfriend Laura tragically passed away in April of 2008 as a result of a sudden unexpected death in Epilepsy also known as (SUDEP).

Epilepsy Bereaved aim to improve medical healthcare and support for people suffering from epilepsy and their families as well as providing greater impetus for research into SUDEP and other epilepsy related deaths through government lobby.

Your Support is much appreciated aswell as any donations you may wish to make towards the cause.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Epilepsy Bereaved gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Thank you for your support.
