Members of Lyne C C will be running in relay from Lyne, Chertsey to the Oval on Sunday 13th May where we will bowl a ball on the field of play before the match between Surrey and Middlesex. Typically for a village team our ages will range from 18 to 58 and training for this event will make us the fittest team we will face this season.

The run is in commemoration of an original fund-raising event which we performed 25 years ago to help install our first artificial wicket on Lyne recreation ground at the same time sharing funds with White Lodge Centre which is a local day centre for people of all ages with disabilities. 

All donations this time will go to White Lodge as we have recently installed our fourth replacement wicket from our own efforts.
