Hi, and welcome to Lynn and Helen’s fundraising page for the Grand Canyon Caper.  We’ve decided to pool our fundraising resources, making us a force to be reckoned with!!  This is a huge challenge for both of us, one which we’re excited about but also increasingly nervous about too. 

The Canyon is formidable, and we’re going to see it at its worse!  Trekking in excess of 10 miles a day in the blistering heat of the Arizona desert, we’re going to earn every penny you lovely people sponsor us!!  On the last day we have to climb up the side of the Canyon, not only carrying ourselves but also 3 days worth of camping gear – and neither of us pack light!!!

It’s all in aid of a fantastic cause though, so please, please, please dig deep and sponsor us loads!!!  The Children’s Adventure Farm Trust provides life-changing opportunities for disabled, terminally ill and disadvantaged kids from all over the North West.  Without this amazing charity, these children would never experience the simple pleasures most of us took for granted in our own childhoods – enjoying the outdoors, playing with our friends and having fun.  For these children, these are the things dreams are made of.  The charity makes these dreams come true, and by sponsoring us you’ll be making a huge difference in the lives of these kids who deserve to feel special.

All donations will help us to reach our target, and will provide fun, love and laughter to children in desperate need.  When we’re killing ourselves on the trek we’ll be thinking of you all and your fantastic support.
