The Animal Health Trust is a charity specifically dedicated to improving the health and welfare of dogs, cats and horses by addressing the problems of disease and injury - the largest threats to animal welfare today. With the help of its supporters, it can achieve this by advancing veterinary science and providing specialist clinical services for all companion animals.

My story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

As you know Murphy was my special boy and battled against the SRM disease for more than half of his short life. He was incredibly brave and despite his illness was always happy and never let his pain slow him down. After over a year of chemotherapy, MRI scans and spinal taps he left us to be finally free from pain.

I am running the Great Run 10k to help raise money to research into this killer disease. The run is being held in Sunderland on Sunday 12th July.
