In memory of Anne Harris

I'm running the Race for Life again this year in memory of my mum, Anne, who I lost to cancer last March. There are no words to descibe how heartbreaking it is to lose your mum to cancer, it's left a void that can never be filled & there's not a minute that goes by that I don't think of her. My mum had a very aggressive form of cancer and the primary source was never confirmed, although it was suspected to be breast cancer. I'm devastated that she was robbed of so many of life's experiences that she was looking forward to, but I'm incredibly proud of the bravery and dignity she showed until the very end and she continues to inspire me every day.
I hope that no one ever has to go through what my mum & my family have, however the sad reality is that 1 in 3 of us will have cancer at some point throughout our lives. The only way to reduce this is to fund new research into causes, cures & preventative methods for cancer. So this year I'm aiming to raise as much money as possible to support Cancer Research UK so that maybe one day cancer can be easily cured.
Events like this are vital in funding Cancer Research UK's life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. By sponsoring me, we can unite and create an army that cancer can't ignore. By sponsoring me, we will beat cancer sooner.
Don't forget to add Gift Aid
