After many years of thinking that I'd like to do a marathon, but never thinking that I could complete 26.2 miles i've finally taken up the challenge.

I'm running for a childrens charity called 'Rays of Sunshine' whose objectives are:
To grant the wishes of seriously ill children, however impossible that wish may seem.
To supply equipment to make their lives easier.
To support hospitals, hospices and special schools to help them provide even better care for these children.
