The Herts Air Ambulance (part of the Essex & Herts Air Ambulance Trust) is a free, life-saving Helicopter Emergency Medical Service for critically ill or injured people in Essex, Herts & surrounding areas. It costs in the region of £500k a month to cover all charitable costs and aircraft operations.

Story

Thank you for all your donations and support messages that we have received and thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

  • It costs around £80,000 per month to operate the aircraft 5 days a week. On average every life-saving flight costs £2,000.00 and with all your donations we have helped to keep this service in operation

We are so happy with all the support that we have received from friends and family before and on the day of the big race. Those that came along to cheer us on the day made things more enjoyable and it was great to hear their voices even though the large crowds of people, we look forward to them joining in the fun next year……or maybe taking part too???

Again thank you so much for helping raise so much money for the Herts Air Ambulance
