Story

Mange Tout mes amis!

I'm going to ride from London to Paris over 4 days in late August to help raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.  Hopefully without hitting any stationary objects! :-)

Macmillan provide support that improves the lives of people affected by cancer.  They rely on donations for almost all of their income to ensure that they can provide this essential service.

Currently 1.2 million people are living with cancer in the UK.  739 people are diagnosed with cancer every day and 1 in 3 of us will be affected by cancer at some point in our lives.

We all have our daily moans and groans but they all pale into insignificance when we, a relative, a friend or a colleague are told those life perspective changing words by their doctor.

My target is £1200 but this includes the cost of the trip which is £360.  I have paid this amount to ensure that all your donations will go straight to Macmillan.

All donations welcome but please feel free to be as generous as you like! :-)

Many thanks for your support,

John
