We decided on Jessica's Trust as our chosen charity because as we start our married life, we remember a marriage cut short by a preventable and cureable illness that is still killing new mothers. Ben Palmer's wife, Jessica died of Childbed Fever shortly after the birth of their second child and now Ben campains tirelessly to raise awareness of Childbed Fever and to introduce checks which hopefully will reduce the number of new mothers who die from it. By donating in honour of our wedding you could make an important change.
