<p>Between us we will be cycling this years 'St Andrews Madsummer's Dash', for CLIC Sargent, cycling in a relay from the Houses of Parliament in London back to St Andrews in Scotland - a distance of 439 miles if we take the right route! On this two day journey we will be supported by two safety vehicles.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>This years 'CLIC Sargent Team' is made up of Paul McBarron, Stephen Mercer, Craig Nicol, Owen Hazel, Pat Headon, Neil Millar and Ivo Costa-Sa. It will definitely be fun - if the cycling isn't challenging enough then sitting in a safety vehicle for nearly 2 days with the team will be a big challenge in itself.....</p>

<p>This years event will begin as Big Ben strikes 10pm on Wednesday 15th June. At this time 6 teams will start cycling from the Houses of Parliament. Sir Menzies Campbell, MP and ex Olympic athelete, will be starting the event. </p>

<p>All team members, including the safety drivers, have donated their time. All the costs of the event have been covered by the teams themselves and the St Andrews Midsummer's Ball who have organised this event. </p>

<p>Each team will have at least one cyclist riding at any one time all the way back to St Andrews. It will be a long ride, but worth every moment, as we all benefit our teams chosen Scottish Children's charity CLIC Sargent.</p>
