Story
In december last year my sister Natasha was diagnosed with bowel cancer, days after racing in a relay and months after cycling for 25 hrs from Newcastle to London.
It doesn't seem fair that someone so fit healthy and active should get cancer. Natasha is an inspiration getting through bowel surgery and now undergoing chemotherapy and still running. When ever I can't be bothered to train I think of this and tell myself to man up!
So I'm running race for life because life isnt fair. So we need cancer research to help those of us who get the bad luck. And we need to keep as physically and mentally fit as possible and so we can fight what ever life throws at us no matter how unfair. Knowing how fit Natasha was was the biggest reassurance I could have had when we got the news.
