Sahara Desert Challenge · 26 August 2005

The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

I have just completed The Prince's Trust Sahara Desert Challenge. It involved running and cycling in the Atlas mountains in southern Morroco.

It was fantastic, mindblowing, challenging and also horribly painful! (running 22km with a sprained ankle hurts!!!)

The Sahara Desert Challenge took place on 14th-21st January 2006. Thanks to everyone who have already sponsored me via this site or by other means.

The amount raised will help a significant number of disadvantaged young people to get their life back on track!

For more information about the actions of The Prince's Trust please see: http://www.princes-trust.org.uk/Main%20Site%20v2/common%20cause.asp

The challenge itself is completed but there is still plenty of time left to donate (deadline is 22nd of February)

Many thanks for your support!
