5 Barnardo's Babes are taking on a Mad Morocco Mission! We are mountaineering up the one of the highest mountain ranges in North Africa. We are a bunch of generally unfit ladies who are undertaking this challenging adventure to help the 100,000 disadvantaged children that Barnardo's supports across the UK.

Below is some information on how Barnardo’s will spend the money we raise:

· £10 could pay for an emergency wash and personal care kit for a young person who is homeless. 

· £20 could pay for a young carer to take a well-needed break

· £105 pays for a child to have three sessions with a psychologist to help rebuild their life after abuse

· £250 could pay for a year’s worth of support group sessions for 4 young people whose parents misuse drugs  and alcohol

· £1,500 would enable us to work with 38 families intensively for a year around issues such as domestic abuse and mental health difficulties.

· £2,000 would pay for 2 children who've been sexually abused to receive vital counselling.

· £5,000 would fund exciting and fun outings, such as swimming or horse riding lessons, for children with disabilities 

· £7,000 could cover the cost of an intensive, 6-month programme to divert a young offender from crime.
