Dear friends,
It's all over! I have to confess that I had one of the best days I can remember on April 13th, and would thoroughly recommend the whole London Marathon experience to anyone, whether as spectator or partaker. I completed the course in 4hr 20min, without having to walk, and I loved every minute.
I have been bowled over by the generosity of my friends and acquaintances in sponsoring me for this event, which is shown by the fantastic total already raised. If you were thinking of sponsoring but hadn't yet got round to it you can still do so on this link. This really is the most efficient way for me to raise funds for my charity. If you are a UK taxpayer your donation will be increased by almost a third at no cost to you. I really do appreciate your donation and at least now I feel like I have earned it!!
