Fundraising for Multiple Sclerosis Society

Thank you for visiting Mad Strollers fundraising page.
A team of friends (Michelle,Amy,Roberta,Rosanna,Katherine) had a MAD thought to do this 50 miles for the MS society.We've paid up and told all you guys about it so we have to do it now or we'd never hear the end of it.
It is for the Multiple Sclerosis society which is very close to our hearts most of us knowing someone who suffers from MS. Did you know that there are currently 85,000 MS suffers in the UK?! My team mates have been great in volunteering their time and leg muscles; to them I am massively grateful and overwhelmed by their support.
Your donations will go towards four MAJOR projects:the MS programme which funds specialist MS nurses,the Tissue Bank Appeal,the MRI Scanner Fund,to help in the early detection of MS and various research projects.
Please dig deeper than deep (yep even if fluff comes out of your pocket,I'll take it) and sponsor us online or in person.Remember it's not just your friend you are sponsoring it is the MS society,which have been a great support to me (Michelle)since my Mum was diagnosed.They have a brilliant support team who have helped me to understand what is going on but also they provide a helpline(24 hour) for MS suffers.I feel very helpless as not a lot is known about MS but we feel this walk was just something we could do - at least I know my walking pains will go away unlike many sufferers of MS. My Mum is good at the moment and we'd like to keep her that way,so come on get donating,so we can find out more ways to help people just like her,I'm sure you have known someone that has been affected by MS in some capacity. Developments: Michelle:Well ,training is under way - not at any great speed I may add but Andy has dragged me out (of the pub - I'm kidding!!) a few times. Katherine,Amy and myself have walked a long walk,longer than expected(we got lost!?) but still found our way home(much to Andy's dismay). Many thanks for your support. I'll fill you in on our developments and adventures! Mad Srollers - just to recap,we are all camping and on the second day(after a night of camping) we are getting up at 5am THEN walking a marathon THEN camping THEN getting up after camping(did I mention that!)THEN walking again - the camping is worth a tener alone!!!!!
