On April 16th 2005 in Portsmouth, 22 members of the Countrywide MAD Team set 4 British Records!

The records were the Men's, Women's & Mixed Marathon team relays (42,195m/26.2 miles) 4 per team, and the 50,000m sprint relay, 10 man team!

Womens Team: 2hr 57min 7.3sec (formally 3hr 11min 3sec)
Claire Derham, Nicola Morris, Janice Veleke, Nadine Jenkins.
Mens Team: 2hr 19min 44.4sec (formally 2hr 24min 29sec) Nik Fleming, Steve Sanders, John O'Grady, Andy Sangster. Mixed Team: 2hr 31min 43.3sec (formally 2hr 40min 11sec) Graham Benton, Celia Rumbold, Kelly Sapsford, Chris Brett. 50,000m: 2hr 15min 38.7sec. Sam Jenkinns, Jon Goodall, Rob Smith, Kev Peebles, Phil Morris, Pete Marston, John Davies, Graham Parker, Wullie Brown, Mark Mitchell, Martyn Low (assistant) We raced for Cancer Research as this cause is very close to all our hearts as most of us have lost a loved one through this terrible illness, and we as a team felt this was the best way we could help.
